Today’s my birthday and I’m going to enjoy myself! Maybe sleep in late, relax for a while and then go out to dinner with Helene and her parents.
Oh, and work on the nursery, go shopping for stuff that we need, go to the grocery store and, if there’s time, open some presents. 
Just want to wish my lovely wife a very Happy Valentine’s Day!
Oh, and a happy V-Day to everyone else out there too. 
A quick thanks to everyone who was able to attend the baby shower and to those of you who sent cards and gifts. Helene had a great time and we appreciate everyone thinking of us and our impending arrival.
A special thanks to Great Aunt Helene for hosting and to Teresa and Karen for providing the food, drinks and activities.
We’re off to Seattle for the baby shower that is being thrown for Helene at her aunt’s house. We’re making this a “babymoon” weekend and are going to enjoy our last vacation sans children. Besides the baby shower we’re going to do some sightseeing in Seattle and just relax and enjoy ourselves.

February is a month for birthdays. Today is my mother-in-law’s birthday. So a very happy birthday to you Judy!
We’re pregnant!
I’ve been very lax at updating the web site, so unless you know us and have heard directly you might not know that we’re expecting a baby girl in March.

We’re very excited and are in the throes of getting the house ready for the new arrival. I’ll post more details in a bit.
Just wanted to wish a very happy birthday to my niece, Alexis. She’s celebrating her 15th birthday today.
I’ve added some blogging capabilities to the site so that Helene can more easily post notes. Hopefully I’ll be able to make this a little nicer visually, but until then it will remain a subsection of the main site.
