It’s been far too long but I’m finally posting an update.
Josie is growing and surprising us at every turn. She was 10 pounds and 21.5 inches long at her 8 week checkup. And just tonight she rolled over from her front to her back, and she did it not once but three times! We’re surprised that she’s doing that at just 11 1/2 weeks old.
We took a family vacation this past weekend to Astoria, Oregon, just the three of us getting out before the crowds start once summer really begins. It was a lot of fun and we were able to see Fort Clatsop, where Lewis and Clark wintered in 1805, and Fort Stevens, a Civil War era fort that was upgraded and manned through the end of World War II. It actually took fire from a Japanese sub, something that I wasn’t aware of.
