Finally! Josie took her official first independent steps last night. We even managed to get it on video, which hopefully we’ll be able to post sometime soon. She took about 2-3 quick steps between Steve and myself. We were so excited! She was pretty proud of herself also. She repeated it today to both my mom and Steve so I don’t think it was a fluke. Hopefully she’ll continue to gain her confidence and take a few more steps each time. I have to admit, while I’m so excited, I’m also a bit sad because she’s growing up so fast! I swear it was just yesterday that we brought home that tiny little bundle…
I was going to post a couple of action shots that we took while she was walking but, technology being what it is, my computer decided to break. It no longer recognizes the removable drives so it won’t read the memory stick. Steve worked on it for a while but no luck so far. If we can get it working or Steve can get the pictures onto his computer then we’ll get them posted later.

Yay! Steve got the pictures off the camera and onto his computer so I could post them today. Unfortunately he couldn’t fix my computer last night so that may mean less pictures for now. Hopefully it won’t be too much more work to figure out what’s wrong with it. And now…
