We are happy to report that Dodger has found a new home!
As we mentioned a few weeks ago, we had to give Dodger up because our changing family and his high energy lifestyle were not working out well. We were very sorry to see Dodger leave but Steve will be the first to say that life at home has gotten a lot easier since then. This has been a great help as Helene’s pregnancy, now in it’s fourteenth month
, has been pretty rough on her.
We took Dodger to the Oregon Humane Society, which has a 99.9% success rate placing animals in new homes. They work with several organizations to help find animals new homes. One of them is Family Dogs New Life, who took Dodger into their home and were the ones who found him a new family to live with.
We are still sad that Dodger is no longer with us because he was part of our family, but we are also happy that he has found a new home and family to live with that can give him more of that all important time and attention that we were unable to.
